History

The concept for Cloudscrapers emerged during one of the most difficult times for our studio. After having to downsize and part ways with our team, we felt burned out and uncertain about what would come next. Long walks in the Bavarian mountains helped clear our minds. Watching the shifting clouds above the peaks sparked the idea for a game inspired by that feeling – the calm of a cloudy summer sky, or the comfort of being indoors while a storm rages outside. The act of building towers, failing, and trying again became a metaphor for our journey as indie developers: to keep creating, keep learning, and slowly grow until we can overcome the obstacles that once felt impossible to master.
